Chemicals dosing systems

Construction of batch units was designed for excellence in preparation of polyelectrolyte. Separate tanks for dilution&maturing and storage provide ultimate quality of solution. Mature product has no contact with fresh portion, every drop is staged for equal time.

Maturing tank is placed over storage tank and the transfer is done with the force of gravity.

Controls of the batch units allow to control the solving process in every detail, including mixing schedules and maturing time.

Description

A wide range of applications

EMI delivers individually designed chemicals dosing units that cater for all needs of our clients. We have experience in working with aggressive, hazardous and/or explosive chemicals. Our units are fit to dilute, mature or execute complex preparation procedures for a wide array of chemicals used in large and small scale industries.

Safety of uninterrupted work

Units offered by EMI can work uninterrupted even when source tank has to be replaced. Smart design allows to empty a transport tank while avoiding dry-running of the pumps.

Maintenance crews safety in increased as the personnel is never required to come into direct contact with dosed chemicals. Suction lances are built-in and there is no need to remove them when a container is being replaced. Sump trays capable of capturing any spills prevent contamination in case of any leaks.

Advanced controls

Each EMI system is supplied with a stainless steel control cabinet. Operators use the intuitive graphical interface presented on a touch screen. Siemens S7 controller used in standard units provides a multitude of functions. It also allows for easy and quick integration with SCADA systems.

Pneumatic powder supplyHigh consumption of powder calls for frequent fill-ups. To reduce operating costs, we recommend using pneumatic powder supply lines featuring specialized sub-pressure transport units from leading brands. Such lines can be also equipped with equipment for unloading and emptying big-bags.Concentrate tankEach station can be upgraded with the ability to dilute polyelectrolyte concentrate (emulsion). Concentrate is stored in a stainless steel tank with level controls and pumped with a screw pump.Dilution systemAs EMI polyelectrolyte preparation stations can reach high concentrations of the solution, it is reasonable to use them in combination with static secondary dilution systems which greatly increase the nominal output at a fraction of the cost while lowering the concentration to desired level
